Thank you to all the LPOs that counted parcel for this survey.
This survey was collated to provide a snapshot of the % of delivery points that receive a parcel daily through delivery by the LPO that provided the data. The average number of parcels delivered to each delivery point is 7.2%. This is an average for all delivery points, not just POBs. Expressed differently, each of your delivery point will receive a parcel 7.2% of the delivery days per year. If there is 250 delivery days (on average) each year, each delivery point will receive 18 parcels per year.
Good news for LPOG with the final steps for changes to the definition of 'Association' in the LPO agreement almost completed, as per the Senate recommendations.
LPOG understands that this will result in all Licensees being formally notified shortly by Australia Post, that LPOG has equal standing in regard to consultation in all areas of our LPO agreement on behalf of Licensees. Although so far our representations on behalf of LPOG members over the last 2 years has seen all of our gains passed onto every Licensee regardless of membership.
Not that the absence of that change has held LPOG back at any time. It was that very restriction that has been the motivation to bring about the much needed change to empower Licensees.
Are you aware of the Western Union risks? (Members login to see original scam warning article)
In recent months LPOGroup has fielded serious complaints by Licensees who have been victims of fraud whilst carrying out duties as an agency of Western Union and Australia Post.
Unfortunately these Licensees have been burdened with the prospect of financial loss despite being just an agent for this service.
The renewal notices for the 2015 2016 financial membership for LPOG have been posted to you.
If you have not received your renewal notice by the end of the week ending 13 June, please send us an email at email@example.com and we shall happily re-issue it for you.
If you are paying via bank transfer please remember to include your WCC as your reference.
If you require the $128 Public Liability Insurance cover you will need to fax or send the portion of your renewal notice as confirmation to LPOG - details on the notice.
