Licensees flyer to your local politicians

Would you like to tell your local politicians about the issues that Licensed Post Offices face under the current management of Australia Post.

Print this flyer and send it to your local members so that we can help them to understand the local Post Office needs their help and should be high on their list of priorities.

Postal Industry Award Rates for July 2013

In June 2013, the Fair Work Commission issued its Annual Wage Review decision
regarding minimum Award pay rates. The Postal Services Industry Award has been
affected by this increase.
The Fair Work Commission’s decision will increase the minimum wage in Awards by
2.6%. This change takes effect from the first pay period on or after 1 July 2013.

Licensees need to talk to this Commissioner!

Financial Review BOSS Article

Licensees may find it enlightening to source the June 2013 Volume 14 Financial Review Boss magazine. Sit down with a stiff brandy ( make sure it is after your days work - brandy and all that) and read the article.

You will not have trouble identifying which article will be of interest!

Then join LPOG ASAP.

You might be able to find this at the local library, LPOG have requested a digital link. It will be posted if it is available when we have a response.

'Les Miserables"

Notice to L.P.O.s and Unpaid Commissions

When the new CEO took over Australia Post 2.5 years ago he said "I will not run a business which costs the Australian Taxpayers money".

We are Australian Taxpayers and the Post Office is costing all of us money. The unresolved debacle of parcel scanning costs all of us both time and money. Money owing to LPOs now goes back several months, when APO were advised of our request for increased commission.

A United Voice Speaks Clearly

Dear Licensee

Late last year you forwarded a number of emails to this office from other people regarding Australia Post.

I thought you might be interested to know that this office has received a number of complaints from constituents across the electorate on matters to do with Australia Post, but most specifically with the viability of regional postal contracts.  In response Tony wrote to the Minister and the Shadow Minister on the matter – I attach these letters for your reference.
